Lois Knutsen

As a 25 year employee, Lois began her work at Holyrood Cemetery in July 1991 as an Office Assistant. Lois is a detailed person so it is no surprise that she enjoys detailed hobbies: genealogy, counted cross stitch, jigsaw puzzles, reading, and the diversion of playing on her Game Boy. She enjoys reading English history, both fiction and non-fiction. A favorite author is Phillipa Gregory’s War of the Roses & Tudor periods of “strong” women. Lois loves being wherever her grandchildren and great-grandchildren live and spending time with them. She started her career with Associated Catholic Cemeteries after the encouragement of her pastor. Among Lois’ many responsibilities is assisting families at the grave side. She says that among her favorite things at ACC is “the brief yet heartfelt connection that I make with families at a service warms and blesses my life.” When she thinks of ACC, she says “We all care for each other.”
