Ashley V. Lobie
Ashley was appointed as President of Associated Catholic Cemeteries by the Most Rev. Paul D. Etienne, Archbishop of Seattle, effective July 1, 2023. This appointment is a testament to her unwavering dedication and deep commitment to the mission of the Church. Prior to her current role, Ashley faithfully served as the Superintendent of Holyrood Cemetery, a position she was promoted to on July 19, 2022. Her journey with Associated Catholic Cemeteries began in December of 2015, following the passing of her great-grandmother, when she embraced her vocation as Family Service Director at Holyrood Cemetery.
Throughout her tenure, Ashley has demonstrated a profound passion for providing compassionate care to the families served by ACC, guided by the principles of the Catholic faith. Her leadership is marked by a focus on excellence in service and a commitment to fostering a dynamic, mission-driven team that embodies the spirit of the Gospel.
In addition to her role at ACC, Ashley brings a wealth of entrepreneurial experience, having successfully founded two local service companies. Her business acumen, combined with her deep faith, enables her to lead with both vision and humility.
Ashley is also an active participant in the Catholic Cemetery Conference and Catholic Cemeteries and Funerals of the West, further strengthening her connection to the broader Catholic community. Reflecting on her journey, Ashley shared, “Many of my family members are laid to rest at Holyrood. I became inspired to join Associated Catholic Cemeteries because I know what it’s like to sit on the other side of the table. This role allows me to serve the community of my faith in a meaningful way.”
Ashley finds great fulfillment in her work at Associated Catholic Cemeteries, attributing her sense of purpose to the strong bonds within the ACC family. She often expresses, “I am here to serve the families of ACC. It is a calling that brings both fulfillment and purpose, rooted in our shared faith and commitment to honoring the sanctity of life.”
